Well I signed up for a one-month "trial" premium membership because I wanted a name change. Other than the name change, less advertising and more deviations displayed per page, can anyone give me a good reason why I should keep the membership once the month is over?

Freaking dA.... hit one wrong key in error and you lose the whole wonderfully worded prose you had been working on! Anyway.... the short and sweet of it is that I am seriously considering leaving dA and deleting my account this weekend. Why?  Because dA was a nice way for me to see how I have grown as a photographer over the years, but its become more of a chore than a delight to visit here these days.  A site that I have to come to in order to clear my messages cache of art that, for the most part, I don't even look at.  Sure, the occasional piece will have me pause long enough to view it in larger than icon form, but its pretty few and fa

Hey everyone, sorry I haven't posted in here for awhile but I have been busy with my Etsy shop and, with getting married a few months back (with all the planning, preparing, packing, unpacking and melding two households worth of junk into one, and the two resultant stress-related ER visits in the midst of it all) things were pretty hectic for awhile.  Now that everything is settling down into a regular rhythm my job is gearing up for the busy spring and summer season, so I don't expect to have an abundance of spare time between now and, say, September!
